In the streets of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and beyond, there is no "us" and "them". There is only the rhythm of the city we built together. Surinamese culture isn’t a guest in these spaces; it is the heartbeat.
We took a piece that was waiting for its moment and anchored it with the Alakondre. Literally translating to "All Lands," this bead is the visual manifesto of our shared history: a vibrant, glass-fused mosaic that traveled oceans and trade routes to become the crown jewel of heritage.
The Architecture
The Ancestral Flex: An ode to the people of Surinam and the heavy gold of our grandmothers, refined for a 2026 high-rise view.
The Hardware: We paired the Alakondre bead with a heavy-gauge gold rope chain. History this rich needs a foundation that can actually hold its weight.
The One-of-One: Because these are hand-crafted glass, no two beads are identical. Just like your hustle, it refuses to be replicated.
The Curation
This piece was born to be stacked. We love it layered against a thick Liquid Gold Herringbone to create a multi-dimensional, "Main Character" aesthetic that feels as expensive as it looks.
